I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a doctorate in Human Development—but just as importantly, I understand the mental and emotional terrain athletes navigate every day. Like you, I’ve experienced the triumphs that come from pushing limits, and the frustrations that arise when setbacks, self-doubt, or grief threaten to derail progress.
Over the past 40 years, I’ve walked through personal valleys—family loss, injury, divorce, and unexpected life turns—and emerged with a deeper understanding of what it takes to not just recover but grow stronger. That journey has fueled my passion for helping others do the same.
